What does a credit mean?
A credit measures how much work the AI actually does for you. Every time you chat, ask questions, or let the agent read and edit your project, Boongle tracks the real compute used and converts it into credits. Heavier tasks — longer conversations, bigger files, and more capable models — use more credits. Lighter tasks use fewer.
What counts toward my monthly credits?
Agent mode, Ask mode, context summarization, and other AI features in the IDE count toward your plan's monthly credit pool. Tab completions are unlimited on all plans and do not consume credits.
Do credits reset every month?
Yes. Your included credits reset at the start of each billing month. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
What happens if I run out of credits?
When you reach your monthly limit, new AI prompts are paused until your credits reset or you upgrade to a higher plan. Ultra and Custom plans can add pay-as-you-go usage for extra credits beyond the included amount.
Why do different models use different amounts of credits?
More powerful models do more reasoning and process more context per request, so they consume credits faster. Faster or lighter models are more efficient and stretch your monthly allowance further.
